Nungwi Beach House

A low beach house facing the reef, with a cold-water plunge, outdoor shower and a kitchen the host stocks on request. Check-in is from 14:00. The tide walk to the lighthouse is a few minutes along the beach.

Pemba Cove Lodge

Six rooms above a small cove on Pemba’s west coast. Evenings are generator-free after 22:00. Boats to the reef leave from the beach steps. Breakfast is served on the terrace.
